Deposits | A Deposit is required for all cake orders, with a 25% deposit for your wedding cake (all deposits are non-refundable) Balance of wedding cakes are to be made 6 weeks prior to your date. |
Payments | Payment may be made by cash or cheque made payable to Cakes by Stacey or Stacey Caie (please include card details on reverse) |
Alteration to orders | Any alterations to the original order will be confirmed in writing and may be subject to an additional charge. Late amendments to orders are often possible and every effort will be made to accommodate changes, but this cannot be guaranteed. |
Cancellation of orders | In the event of cancellation work already completed is chargeable. |
Photography | Every cake is photographed upon completion for inclusion in the cakes by stacey portfolio which is displayed on this website and may also be used to advertise my business by other medias. Any published photograph of individuals and groups are used soley with their permission. |
Allergies | Chocolate and Madiera recipes do not contain nuts, however, the cakes are made in a kitchen that definitely does use nuts regularly. The cakes should not be served to anyone with a nut allergy |
Stand Hire | Stands may be hired for a nominal fee with a hire deposit of £50 which will be returned once the stand is in my possession exclusive of any damage. |
Non Edible Items | For the safety of those eating the cake, I will bring to your attention any items in your cake which are not edible and request these must be removed for your safety and that of your guests before cutting the cake and eating it. I would appreciate your acknowledgement before I can release the cake to you. |
Delivery | When I deliver a cake I will take the utmost care in delivering and setting up of the cake, however I must hand over this responsibility to my customers representative for which I would require a signature to confirm I have left the cake safe and satisfactory to them. This is the limit of my liability. |
Refunds | Due to banking requirements any full or partial refund given at the discretion of cakes by stacey will be given by cheque. |
